mercurial-nested software package provides Mercurial extension to work with nested repositories, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mercurial-nested
mercurial-nested is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mercurial-nested package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mercurial-nested *
You will get with mercurial-nested package name, version, architecture and description in a table
